He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hamann and Johanna Hamann (Lemke); his wife Deloris Jean Hamann; his siblings-in-law, Larry Oeltjenbruns, Arnie Fauk and Carol Eickhoff; and his niece Angie Oeltjenbruns.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Hamann (Alice) of Albany, Kim Pelzer (Steve) of Albany and Jason Hamann (Jill) of Albany; his sister Ruth Fauk of Albany; his nieces, Becky and Robbie; his nephew Paul; and also, Jeffrey Hamann, Justin Hamann, Jacob Hamann, Jenna Hamann, Johanna Hamann, Ashley Platz, Joshua Pelzer, Brittany Pelzer and Kaylee Hamann. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (840 Lake Ave, Albany, MN 56307). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
