He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Kleve and Elizabeth Kleve (Knoblach); his wife Marie Kleve; his son David Kleve; his son-in-law Ray Eggert; his granddaughter Jody Kleve; and his siblings, Sylvester, Victor, Arthur, Walter, Werner, Gerald, Ray, Herbert Kleve and LouAnn Wensmann.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kleve (Nancy) of Albany, Alice Eggert of St. Cloud, Marilyn Zimmermann (Roger) of Albany and Carol Kleve of Albany; his daughter-in-law Dianne Kleve of Freeport; and his sister Rosie Schaefer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
