With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anselm Joseph Sperl (Albany, Minnesota), who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Sperl and Frances Sperl; his siblings, Hyacinth, Alexander, Frances, Sylvester, Robert and Adelheid; and his daughter Peggy.
He is survived by: his children, Susan J. Sperl (Milo Fine), Karen Sperl, Gary Sperl (Elaine), Steve Sperl (Jean) and Kelly Sperl; his grandchildren, Jessica Behm (John), Andrea Imhoff, Erika Sperl, Laura Kim (Elliot), David Sperl (Meghan), Michael Sperl (Michaela), Amanda Lieberman (Adam), Adam Sperl (Stephanie) and Mariah Sperl; and his great grandchildren, Johnny, Lilac, Lilya, Gracie, Willa, Hattie and Theo.
Our family cares about your safety and respects and supports your decision to not attend the indoor mass in light of the COVID pandemic. Social distancing and masking requirements will be followed in the church.
Memorials to Church of Seven Dolors, Knights of Columbus, Mother of Mercy, in Albany, or to Country Manor, in Sartell, are appreciated and preferred in lieu of flowers.
