She was predeceased by: her parents, John Olmscheid and Frances Olmscheid; her husband Herbert Backes of Mary's Cathedral; her daughter Ramona (Jeffrey); and her siblings, Nick Olmscheid (Emma), Elizabeth Schlangen (Alfred), Gilbert Olmscheid (Dorothy), Theresa Schaefer (Nick), Marie Schoenberg (Gilbert), Alverna Enneking (Alfred) and Catherine Primus (Joe).
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Christina), Willie (Karen), Gary (Lisa) and Gene (Mary). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and many loving relatives and friends.
