He is survived by: his siblings, Gayle Gilbertson (Jack) of Aitkin and Troy Hallstrom (Jenny) of Arizona; his godmother Beatta Hillman of Mora; and his nieces and nephews, Russ Gilbertson, Randi Lind (Joe), Jeff Caple (Holly), Holly Caple, Seth Hallstrom and Cole Hallstrom. He is also survived by many cousins, and friends.
