He was predeceased by: his uncle Curtis Blomquist; his aunt Dolores Honl; and his parents, Ellsworth Honl and Alta Wyzetta Ione Honl (Blomquist). He is survived by: his wife Myra Honl of Aitkin; his sons, Bryan Honl (Michelle) of McAllen and Brad Honl (Kristine) of Centennial, Colorado; his grandchildren, Claire, Nathaniel and Natalie Honl; his stepgrandson Jacob Martinez; and his siblings, Devon Kytola of Woodville, Wisconsin, Rand Honl (Joey) of Winthrop, Gary Honl (Jeri) of Gaylord and David Honl (Sheila) of Deerwood. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Riverwood Healthcare Center, the Boy Scouts of America, or the donor's choice.
