He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Palm and Rozetta Palm (Davidson); his wife Margaret O'Neil; and his siblings, Gloria Palm Dahlmann, Jean Thomas, Walter McAllister and Dan Rufus McAllister of Lake George.
He is survived by: his children, Camie Sprenger of Spanaway, WA and Shayne Palm of Los Angeles, CA; his stepchildren, Kim Cox (Dave), Lori Anderson (Stu) and Bob Borden (Ashley); his grandchildren, Brandon Sprenger, Benjamin Sprenger (Liz), Breanna Heideman (Thoeren), Grady Sprenger (Lauryn) and William Sprenger; and his siblings, Gary Palm (Eileen) of Minneapolis, Bernita Harrison of Crosby and Micky Mechelke of Park Rapids. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
