We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jeanne Lilliam Risnes in Aitkin, Minnesota, born in Plato, Minnesota. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Ruschmeier and Lillian Ruschmeier (Telthorster); her husband Carl Risnes; her daughters, Kay Tougas (Risnes) and Denise Risnes; and her brothers, Hank Ruschmeier, Allen Ruschmeier, James Ruschmeier and Earl Ruschmeier.
She is survived by: her sons, Kurt Risnes of Crosby, Scott Risnes (Becky) of Deerwood and Keith Risnes (Esperanza) of San Diego; her daughter-in-law Barb Risnes; and her siblings, Ilo Kyar of Aitkin and Ernie Ruschmeier (Evyone) of Aitkin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanual Lutheran Church (600 4th St SW, Crosby, MN 56441). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
