He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorrell Hanson and Rose Hanson; his sister-in-law Sharon Ruppert; his brother Lorrell Hanson Junior; and his niece Michaela Ruppert.
He is survived by: his children, Josh Ruppert of Sioux Falls, SD, Saprina Ruppert of Phoenix, AZ and Logan Ruppert of Fairfield, CA; his grandson Matthew Ruppert; and his siblings, Pat (Pam), Dorothy Seeman of Sioux Falls, SD, Don Ruppert of Madison, SD, Mike Ruppert, James Ruppert (Kim) and Sheryl McBride. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
