It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Robert Engelkes (Adrian, Minnesota), who passed away on October 8, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jurgen Engelkes and Anna Engelkes; his former wife Marge; his daughter Cheryl; and his siblings, Jurgen (Jerry), Frances, Lloyd and Vernon.

He is survived by: his spouse Marjorie Eshleman; his former wife LaDonn Gruis of Adrian, MN; his daughter Jan Engelkes (Jeff Saul) of Denver, CO; and his stepchildren, Greg Gruis (Coleen) of Rushmore, MN, Brad Gruis (Alice) of Baltic, SD and Lori Mejia of Adrian, MN. He is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
