She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blake and Gertrude Blake (Hackenmiller); and her husband Sylvester "Bud" Schaefer. She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Mulcahy (Bob), Patrick Schaefer (Judy) of Shoreview, Ellen Wiste (Dave) of Adams, Ruth Larson (Lowell), Jim Schaefer (Katie) of Rochester and Mary Jo Davis of Wykoff; and her brother William Blake (Betty) of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to the Sacred Heart School.
