With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Kirtz (Adams, Minnesota), who passed away on January 1, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonse Kirtz and Margaret Kirtz; his stepmother Helena Kirtz; and his brothers, Fred Kirtz, Ray Kirtz and John Kirtz.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Margaret Mullenbach (Ray) of Adams, John Kirtz (Kristie) of Adams, David Kirtz (Bonnie) of Adams, Joanne Koenigs (Brian) of Stacyville and Paul Kirtz (Cairene Greenlee) of Adams; his grandchildren, April Helle (Brian), Emily Bunne (Shane), Henry Mullenbach, Megan Mullenbach (Collin Jacobson), Benjamin Kirtz, Coty Kirtz, Kaitlyn Kirtz, McKenzie Kirtz, Logan Kirtz, Jacob Koenigs, Adam Koenigs, Jackson Koenigs, Auna Koenigs, Kassidy Kirtz, Isiah Morse and Kaytlen Greenlee; his great grandchildren, Brody, Justin, Lara, Luke Helle, Natalie, Allie, Noah and Adam Bunne; his siblings, Jerome Kirtz (Marlene) of Adams, Regina Bottema of Rose Creek and Dorothy Peterson of Albert Lea; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Kirtz of Adams, MN and Kay Kirtz. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sacred Heart Catholic School in Adams in Joe's memory.
