He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wagner and Rose Wagner (Stephanie); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Velma Matheis; his siblings, Daniel and Ceclia; his brothers-in-law, Gene Michels, Jerry Matheis and Richard Matheis; and his nephew Ryan Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wagner of Adams, MN; his sons, Michael Wagner of Adams, MN, Jason Wagner (Shelley) of Austin, MN, Justin Wagner (Michelle) of Owatonna, MN and Mark Wagner (Brittany) of Austin, MN; and his siblings, Mary Michels of Stacyville, IA, Robert Wagner (Grace) of Stacyville, IA and Jim Wagner (Linda) of Osage, IA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
