It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Raymond Merten of Adams, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Math Merten and Adeline Merten (Landherr); and his siblings, Darlene and Duane. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Meyer; his children, Bob Merten (Chris), Joe Merten (Holly) and Susie Main (Mike); and his siblings, Herb Merten, Mary Ann Mueller (Delphin), Elaine Schemmel (Ron) and Eileen Berg (Erv). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wildwood Grove in LeRoy.
