He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Mortensen, Sr. and Mildred Mortensen (Paulson); his wife Marlene Farnsworth (Molly); and his siblings, Arthur, Glenn, Jr., Patricia and Barbara.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Jessen; his son David Mortensen, Jr. of Onamia, MN; and his grandchildren, Jesse Mortensen and Kaylia Larsen of Onamia, MN. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Lyle Cancer Telethon or Adams Nursing Home Assisted Living.
