It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Mayer of Adams, Minnesota, born in Stacyville, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mayer and Clara Mayer (Hemann); his wife Darlene Mayer; his brothers, Romanus, Clarence, Elmer and Darrell Mayer; and his great grandchild Emerson Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Bottema (Jim), Perry Mayer (Kris), Austin, Dana Sorenson (Allan) and Jad Mayer (Niki); and his sisters-in-law, Cleo Osmundson, Jurine Smith (David) and Lavonne Landherr. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
