He was predeceased by: his parents, David Borchert and Beth Borchert (Collins); his sister Rita Richards (Jones); his son Otto Borchert; his nephew Mike Handt; his sister-in-law Linda Dvorak (Fischer); and his in-laws, Clair and Mary Fischer (Killoran).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Borchert (Fischer); his sons, Owen Borchert (Laura), Benjamin Borchert (Katie), Peter Borchert (Jessica) and James Borchert; his grandchildren, Kahlan, David, George, Nora, Alma and Elise; and his siblings, William Borchert (Bill), Cyndee Evans (Borchert) and Duane Borchert.
