He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Ethel Wagner (August), Jo Van Slooten (Floyd), Howard Postma (Adele), Floyd Postma (Ruth), John Postma, Fritz Postma, Phil Postma (Sara), Paul Postma, John Olthof (Marge), Henry Olthof (Gladys), George Olthof (Paula) and Charles Olthof (Sandy).

He is survived by: his wife Coralyn; his children, Tim Postma and Tammy Van Doeselaar (Randy); his grandchildren, Hanna Premer (Jake), Wil Van Doeselaar, Maggie Van Doeselaar and Emma Postma; and his siblings, Stella Postma, Sherm Postma (Angie) and Carol Koetje. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
