He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Vander Zwaag (Morren); his children, Katie and Matt Emmert; his brothers, Glenn Vander Zwaag (Mary Ellen), Gene Vander Zwaag (Carole), Bob Vander Zwaag (Sandy), Dwight Vander Zwaag (Vonnie) and Rick Vander Zwaag; his sister-in-law Janice Vander Zwaag; his close friend Vern Compagner; his aunt Harriet Slagh; and his close friends, Donna Arnold and Diane McConnell.
