He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille; and his brother Peter Brouwer. He is survived by: his children, Dan, Mary Brouwer of Comstock, MI, Laura, Mike Boot of Elmhurst, Rosalie and Doug Hossink of Byron Center, MI.; his grandchildren, Neil, Amy Brouwer, Russell, Sarah Brouwer, Annaliese Boot (Jonathan Loo), Nathan, Libby Boot, Jenny, Yug Gill, Julie, Ben Marsman, Kathy, Mike Dozeman and David Hossink; his siblings, Mariann, Don Alsum of Winnona, MN, William and Renee Brouwer of Oak Lawn, IL; his sister-in-law Phyllis Brouwer of Minneapolis, MN.; and also Many. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Calvin Seminary or Faith Hospice.
