It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Pelon (Zeeland, Michigan), who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Aud; her siblings, Laura Beelen, Ken (Elaine Beelen), Howard (Vonnie Beelen), Vern (Lucille Beelen) and Milt Beelen; and her in-laws, Aggie Beelen, Ed Pelon, Anita, Jerome Essink and Mary Beelen.
She is survived by: her children, Cal (Jane Pelon), Sue (Chuck Plockmeyer), Sally Pelon and Sherri Walters; her grandchildren, Dave, Cassie Pelon, Lisa, Micah Van Regenmorter, Jon, Stacy Pelon, Kevin, Alicia Plockmeyer, Jeff, Kristin Keen, Kory, Lauren Plockmeyer, Emily Walters, Kara, Micah Kooyers, Christopher and Kynedi Walters; her brother Rev. Marvin Beelen; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Beelen and Gloria Pelon. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren with another great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church (259 Central Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools or Hospice of Holland.
