She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Leonard and Ella Larkin; her parents-in-law, Walter Jaehnig and Adele Jaehnig; her sisters, Margaret Denney and Jean Richards; her sister-in-law Faith Jaehnig Hammond; her daughter-in-law Susan Larkin; and her granddaughter Tracy Larken Rickstad.
She is survived by: her pets, Ranger, Heidi, Lacey, Monte and Stewart; her wife Candace of Zeeland; her children, Larry (Cindy) of Swartz Creek, Ronald of Lewiston, David of Indiana and Ella of Kalamazoo; her sister Virginia Smelser of Toledo, Ohio; and her brother-in-law Walter Jaehnig of Carbondale, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given the Alzheimer's Association or Harbor Humane Society.
