We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 89, Sherwin W. Kamps of Zeeland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kamps and Arendena Kamps (Cramer); his siblings, Anna (Mel Huyser), Irene Kamps, John H. (Mary Ruth Kamps), Thelma (Henry Hoekman), Harvey (Lorraine Kamps), George (Joyce Kamps), Lois (Don Terpstra) and Marcella (John Bosch); and his in-laws, Michael Yankiv, Carol, Gerald Rietberg and Gordon Laninga.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kamps (Laninga); his daughters, Glenda Peters (Bruce), Sandie Coffman (Pastor Joe) and Kathy VanderLaan (Steve); his grandchildren, Sarah DeGouffau (Corey), Jamie Peters (Amy), Meg Page (Shaun), Laura Avery (Troy), Elijah Coffman (Natalie), Zachary Coffman (Ashley), JohnPaul Coffman (Sara), Lindy DeBoer and Michael VanDerLaan (Katie); and his sister Eunice Yankiv. He is also survived by 33 Great Grandchildren.
Sherwin enjoyed giving to many organizations and we encourage you to give to the charity of your choice.
