He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Boersen and Bertha Boersen (Schra); his parents-in-law, Bernard and Juliet Yonker (Nyhuis); his siblings-in-law, Calvin Yonker and Irene Boersen (Warren); and his niece Kimberly Veenhuis (Yonker).
He is survived by: his children, Brad, Julie Boersen (Dorsey) of Corning, Jill, Keith Van Eck of Zeeland, Michigan, Mark and Emily Boersen (Clark) of Roscommon, Michigan; his grandchildren, Holly, Emma, Tate, Chase, Piper, Avery, Connor and Parker; his brother Jack Boersen (Bev); his wife Norma Boersen (Yonker); and his brothers, Vernon Boersen (Marilyn) and Irvin Boersen. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
