He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Brandel, Camella (Robert Serum) and Debra (George Carpenter); and his nieces and nephews, Timothy Brandel, K. Andrew (Samantha Serum), Robyn (John Hammontree), Lindsay (Tyler Maxwell) and Eric Yntema. He is also survived by six great nephews.
