He is survived by: his wife Karen Oppewall; his children, Brenda, Mike Adams, Tom Avink, Barb Marsh, Mari and Travis Zinger; his grandchildren, Jayger, Jerzie, Jaycie Zinger and Dakota Suykerbuyk; his siblings, Henry, Sandy Avink, Alvin, Judy Avink and Ruth Timmer; and his parents-in-law, Delores Avink, Bonnie, Doug Shupe, Dan, Ann Marie Meyaard, Linda, Juan Becerril, Pam and Nelson Vandermeer.
