He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Les Bekins and Effie Bekins (Sprick); his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Steve Hiltunen; his sister Lorraine Klamt; his wife Lynn Van Eden; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Darcey Bekins; his grandchildren, Carson Bekins (Ashlyn Luke), Max Bekins, Zack Hiltunen, Audrey Rojo, Ben Hiltunen and Allison Root; and his parents-in-law, Ron Klamt, Jack, Marcia Van Eden, Bill Van Eden and Tina Davis. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
