He is survived by: his children, Sue Hassevoort (Doug), Tom Miedema (Beth) and Tim Miedema (Pat); his great grandchildren, Adam Hassevoort, Lindsey, Carl Palma, Phil, Jessica Hassevoort (Zoe), Zach, Sarah Miedema, Alex, Phoebe Miedema, Jake, Leslie Miedema, Tiffany, Jeff Dalman, Ashley, Kevin Kline, Spencer, Katie Miedema, Brittany and John Nuland; his siblings, Dale Miedema (Helaine), Ron Miedema (Arloa), Mitzi Miedema, Nelson Miedema (Karen), Marcia Palmbos, Phil Hamming, Bud Miedema (Robin), Randy Miedema (Lindley) and Ken Miedema (Lis); and his in-laws, Harv Arendsen (Shirlene), Ron Van Dyke, Carol Collins (Dean), Linda Garvelink (Bill) and Sally Wabeke (Ross).
