He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Jeffery Sluiter (Mardi), Julie Blucker (Dean), Jack Sluiter (Lisa) and Brent Sluiter (Amy); his grandchildren, Juvenal, Lindsea, Amy, Katie, Naomi, Christy, Andy, Abby, Joshua, Caleb, Justin, Anna, Rylee and Noah; and his brother Gordon (Ruth). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
