He was predeceased by: his parents, Arend Driesenga and Gladys Driesenga (Dys); his parents-in-law, Jay and Lucille Schutte; his siblings, Tommy Driesenga and Lorraine Elenbaas (Driesenga); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Schutte and Ellen Driesenga.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Schutte; his grandchildren, Brent Lubbers, Jeff, Tanya (Hall), Samantha, Trent Rhoderick, Benjamin Driesenga, Chad and Robin (Meekhof); and his siblings, Howard (Von Driesenga), Esther Driesenga, Diane (Jack De Boer), Bette (Don Morren), Rog (Mary Schutte), Jerry (Barb Schutte) and Cal (Jan Schutte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
