He is survived by: his wife Geneva; his children, Bernard (Lisa Hoeve), Bruce (Patty Hoeve), Calvin (Emily Hoeve) and Bonnie (Dan Kooman); his daughter-in-law Amy (Russ Kellicut); his great grandchildren, Mike Hoeve, Mitch, Sara Hoeve, Dusty, Amanda Hoeve, Emily, Tony Meppelink, Ryan, Kaitlyn Hoeve, Melanie, Nick Hawkins, Mary Kate Hoeve, Jon Michael Hoeve, Rachel Hoeve, Samantha Hoeve (Blake Haveman), Adam Hoeve, Paige Hoeve, Taylor, Jack O'Neill, Anna, Ben Eisele and Nick Kooman; his brother James (Sybella Hoeve); and his siblings-in-law, Art, Arlene De Roo, Alma Timmer, Ruth Woodwyk, Brenda, Don Woodwyk, Janice, Jim Blood, Gordon and Patricia De Roo.
