She was predeceased by: her former husband Elmorse Hightower; and her husband Roger Hightower. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Denise Hightower), Stephen (Carol Hightower), Peggy Hightower, David (Lois Hightower) and Amy Shelton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
