He was predeceased by: his grandfather Rasim Selmic. He is survived by: his parents, Erin Boerman Gates and Esad Selmic; his siblings, Anthony Gates, Aiden Selmic, Leah Gates and Leilah Selmic; his grandparents, Scott Boerman, Ginger Boerman and Vahida Selmic; and his great-grandparents, Paul Volkers, Linda Volkers and Joyce Boerman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
