He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Morgan Nicole Essink. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Essink; his children, Tim Essink, Beth Clevenger (Marc), Matt Essink (Kari) and Jennifer Essink; his grandchildren, Nathan Clevenger, Amanda Clevenger, Bradley Clevenger (Michelle), Kaleb Essink and Justin Essink; his great grandchildren, Owen, Brinley, Charlie and Stephen; his sister Marilyn Cranmer; his siblings-in-law, Karal Hoffman and Beryle Wigger; and his stepbrothers, Larry VanderBie (Gay) and Rick VanderBie (Gayle).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Overisel Reformed Church (4706 142nd Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
