He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Grindle and Rachel Grindle (Hawkes); his sister Joy; his brother-in-law Harold Shelby; his wife Betty Jean Wurtz; his family, Melissa, David Houser and Lianne Crouthers; and his siblings, Darlus, William Kumpula, David, Sherry Grindle, John Brent and Linda Grindle.
