He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; and his granddaughter Kimberly Meeuwsen. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Tubergen (Jill), Sandy Kuipers (Jim) and Lorri Meeuwsen (Ross); and his grandchildren, Julie Sal (Brent), Jeff Tubergen (Tara), Josh Tubergen (Ann), Matthew Kuipers (Lori), Megan Kuipers, Jordan Kuipers (Jenae), Stefan Kuipers (Jenn), Mike Hoeve, Mitch Hoeve (Sara), Dustin Hoeve (Amanda), Jennifer Needle (Dan) and Brad Meeuwsen (Vicki). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
