With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon E. Veldhuis (Zeeland, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leon left this world on December 20, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry. He is survived by: his children, Dede (Bryan Kuiken), Curt Veldhuis, Vickie and Jeff (Christi Veldhuis); his grandchildren, Nicole, Brian Barclay, Kendra, Justin Flokstra, Troy, Jessica Kuiken, Alyssa, David Boss-Pellegrino, Gabe, Kelsie Boss, Jakob Veldhuis and Annika Veldhuis; his sister Leona Heyblom; and his siblings-in-law, Jackkie Jennette and Glenn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Second Reformed Church (225 E Central Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Leon's honor may be given to Second Reformed Church or the American Legion.
