He was predeceased by: his former wife Merilyn Jean; his daughters, Lynda Lou Eding and Gwen Bopp; his granddaughter Julie Lynn Eding; and his great grandchild Adler Grey Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Eding (Peters); his children, Marcia Eding, Beth (Ted Nichols Jr.), Lon (Sandy Eding), Scott (Laura Eding) and Meg Bernaciak (Neuquen); his son-in-law Jerry Bopp of New Hudson, MI.; his grandchildren, Allie Bopp, Theodore Nichols III, Christina, Greg Stevens, Margie, Paul Tripp, Matthew, Heather Nichols, Lisa Eding, Jen, Andrew Schutte, Robert, Michelle Eding, Ben Eding, Phillip Eding, Erica Muresan and Ashley Eding; his great grandchildren, Milo, Emma Stevens, Olivia Stevens, Henry, Nora Tripp, Soren Nichols, Emmett, Maeve, Lena Schutte, Emma Eding, Max Muresan and Owen Juntunen; his great great grandchild Baby Stevens; and his sister-in-law Rose (Loren).
