It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Piersma of Zeeland, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James A. Piersma. He is survived by: his mother Mary Piersma (Schipper); his siblings, Julie, Ryan Kooienga, Rebecca, Cam Bogardus, Damien Piersma and Nikolaas Piersma; and his stepmother Amy Hertel-Piersma.
