He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his son Kirk; and his great grandchild Jaxon Brower. He is survived by: his children, John C. (Arty Vander Woude), Sandy (Loren Sall), Linda (Bob Broekstra) and Betsy Michielsen. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
