He was predeceased by: his parents, Pieter Horsting and Martha Horsting (Wierenga); his son John; his siblings, Tineke Cooper, Jerry, Bert and Peter Horsting; his parents-in-law, Harm and Enne Van Munster; and his sister-in-law Donna Van Munster.
He is survived by: his wife Gesine Van Munster; his children, Ron, Robin Horsting of Overisel, Rick, Cara Horsting of Saugatuck, Mike Horsting and Scott Fleming of Chicago; his grandchildren, Steve (Melinda Wunder), Sandra (Brian Tharp), Nicole (Brad Alvesteffer), Rachelle Horsting, Matt Hough, Heather Horsting and Mason (Kambrea Horsting); and his parents-in-law, Betty Horsting, John, Emma Van Munster and Harry Van Munster. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
