He is survived by: his daughter Kim Betten; his grandson Ryan Boerman; his siblings, Bob, Arlowa Betten, Harriet and Al Dykstra; his significant other Jan; his children, Diane (Darby Boerman), Judy Betten, Kris (Don Swackhammer) and Jodi (Dave Heneveld); his great grandchildren, Josh Swackhammer, Emily Boerman, Nate, Monica Swackhammer, Marissa Boerman, Rachael, Aaron Walters, Leah Heneveld, Seth Heneveld and Micah Heneveld; and his in-laws, Gary, Veryl Roberts, Verna, Earl Hulsman, Barb, Jon DeHaan, Linda Bekius, Karen, Scott Geerts, Kris Roberts and Kathy Roberts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
