He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernard, Lillian Nyhof, Harvey, Ann Nyhof and Hermina Nyhof.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Sheri (Jay Bykerk), Barb (Jim Bolhuis), Jan (Brian Westerhof) and Douglas Nyhof; his grandchildren, Gwen (Matt Layman), Christian Bolhuis, Kim Bolhuis, Jake (Annika Westerhof) and Ben Westerhof; his siblings, Ida (Bernie Groenhof), Ray (Sharon Nyhof), Elmer (Leona Nyhof), Robert (Linda Nyhof), Ethel (Michael De Pooter), Ken (Shirley Nyhof) and John (Rose Meengs); and his parents-in-law, Helen, Gerald Grasman, Ernie De Vries, Ed, Cheryl De Vries, Phil and Diane De Vries. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Zuni Mission Christian School.
