It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerene Ruth Steed of Zeeland, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Steed; her in-laws, Harold Beltman (Alma), Shirley Beltman and Norma Gebben (Howard); and her stepson Jim Steed.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Nancy Kiel (Dan), Jim Beltman (Sue), Judy Potter (Kurt), Sharon Beltman, Carol Wieda (Mark), Barb Foote (John), Mary Gebben, Bob Gebben, Lois Jager (Carl) and Ruth Gebben; and her stepchildren, Carol Steed, Robin Steed and Marilyn Baer (Phil).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yntema Funeral Home (251 S State St, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Reformed Church of Zeeland (125 E Lincoln Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464).
