She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben DeBoer and Anna DeBoer (Veldman); her husband Russell J. Vander Woude; her daughter Karen; her sons-in-law, Bob Steenwyk and Ken Gritter; her brothers, George DeBoer and Bob DeBoer; and her in-laws, Ruth DeBoer, Vicki DeBoer, Ken Diepenhorst and Irene Vander Woude.
She is survived by: her daughter Marianne Gritter; her grandchildren, John, Katy Steenwyk, Joel, Jenifer Gritter, Brad and Ariel Gritter; her great grandchildren, Erica, Austin Greenland, Anne Gritter, Hope Gritter, Will Gritter and Clara Gritter; her siblings, John DeBoer and Bette Diepenhorst; and her sister-in-law Judy DeBoer.
