He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Teegardin (McCastle); his parents, Gerald Teegardin and Helen Teegardin (Race); his sister Betty Fisher; and his daughter Elizabeth Sorensen.
He is survived by: his son Shawn Teegardin (Stephanie Edwards) of Holland, MI; his son-in-law William Sorensen of Kent, OH; his sister Ruth Ann Van Ess of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Shannon Sorensen (Carl Peterson) of Brunswick, OH, Stephanie Teegardin of Kalamazoo, MI, Bryan Sorensen of Westlake, OH, Susan Teegardin of Mecosta, MI and Amanda Sorensen (Allan Shomon) of Ravenna, OH; and his close friend Bronx. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
