He is survived by: his wife Jan; his grandchildren, Chris, Peggy Talsma (Trevor), Eric and Amy Talsma; his siblings, Carol Bouman, Mary (Doug Windemuller), Barb (Ralph Byma), Sandy (Jim Vande Waa) and Todd (Carol Beth Talsma); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Prince, Marla Faye and Dale Nienhuis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
