He was predeceased by: his wife Noreen; his children, Sharlene Weener, Pamela Elhart and Larry Weener; his sister Dorene Terpstra; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Wolters, Vonnie Vanden Berg, Gene Wolters, Chuck Hoezee and Pete Zwagerman.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie (Russ Boeve) and Harlen (Faith Weener); his sisters, Hazel Becksfort (Dave) and Loie Van Wienen (John); and his siblings-in-law, Muriel Hoezee, Myra Luurtsema (Les), Viv Zwyghuizen (Bill), Ruth Magnell, Donna Boersema (Ron), Joie Zwagerman, Sherwin Terpstra and Bern Vanden Berg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holland Rescue Mission or Bibles for Mexico.
