He is survived by: his spouses, Leola Schermer and Mary; his children, Leigh Arden Ford of Kalamazoo, Howard Jr., Marylynn Bouwens of Holland, Barb DePree and Chuck DePree of Holland; his stepdaughter Lynn Yntema of Zeeland; and his sister-in-law Lila Bouwens. He is also survived by many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews.
