She was predeceased by: her former husband Henry Zwak; her daughters, Thea Schrotenboer and Janice Zwak; her grandson Joe Schrotenboer; and her brothers, Ernie Miedema, Ed Miedema and Sid Miedema.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Elzinga; her children, Robert Zwak, Bev (Dick Kuiper), William (Marjorie Zwak), Glenda (Doug Myers) and Russell (Amy Zwak); her son-in-law Pete (Linda Schrotenboer); her stepchildren, Cherri, Carl Weener, Kris, Don Baker, Marc, Sheila Elzinga, Jeff, Pat Elzinga, Barry and Darla Elzinga; her siblings, Ron (Delores Miedema), Ted (Gloria Miedema), Gerald Miedema and Jane Cook; and her sisters-in-law, Kae Miedema, Lorraine Miedema, Donna Van Dyke and Joan Van Enk. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
